what does faith mean?

As I type my first blog I wanted to do a blog that had some meaning to me. For me peronally my faith in God is what makes me stronger when I'm going through something hard. In my opinion God will never leave you even if you don't feel like he is always there. When I was growing up , I was involved in everything I could get my hands on. But now that I'm older I dont just want to be involved in church. I want to go out and help people so I decided to try and do some mission work or go on a mission trip. But the one thing is where should i go. But I have a friend who is gonna give me some websites and I will be waiting for those :)
